Center for Outcomes Research

JPS Landscape

The Center for Outcomes Research (COR) was established in December 2016 with the purpose of generating evidence that informs clinical decision-making and optimizes health outcomes, particularly for populations that experience substantial barriers to care and health inequalities. Our research draws on expertise from epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, health policy, and health education. Primary areas of investigation include outcomes of cancer, hepatitis C virus, and HIV. Areas of active research include:

  • Lifestyle factors and cancer mortality or recurrence
  • Direct-acting antivirals and outcomes of hepatitis C virus infections
  • Treatment adherence and retention in care among people living with HIV
