Research Interests

I am an Assistant Member in the JPS Health Network Center for Outcomes Research and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at UNT Health Science Center. The goals of my research are to improve the provision of care to underserved populations and implement interventions to reduce the burden of disease and promote health equity. My work has largely focused on addressing health disparities among cancer patients and survivors. In particular, my research interests include program evaluation, assessment of health inequities across social determinants of health, and patient-reported outcomes. I apply analytic methods to large health-related databases to address questions related to these topics.
