Community Outreach

Community Outreach fulfills the JPS mission of “transforming healthcare delivery for the communities we serve” by strengthening and building community links internal and external to the network, improving the health and well-being of the residents in Tarrant County.

Key focus areas include:

  • Developing and maintaining community collaborations and partnerships
  • Participating at community events and speaking engagements
  • Implementing community based programs

To better serve the Tarrant County community, Joint Council was created. JPS Joint Council meets quarterly and is comprised of individuals and representatives of community and faith-based organizations, as well as interest groups.

Joint Council aims to build community partnerships to improve health and well-being in Tarrant County. Active and engaged external stakeholders provide invaluable feedback and assistance in guiding JPS initiatives. As JPS continues to transform healthcare to make lives better, leadership recognizes the need for continuous input from the community we serve.
