About the JPS Annual Trauma Symposium

JPS is Tarrant County’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. We are an academic institution caring for trauma patients focusing on positive patient outcomes. JPS' Eighth Annual Trauma Symposium is a didactic educational activity designed to provide relevant evidence-informed strategies of current trauma management and treatment methodologies that directly impact patient outcomes. This conference is designed to meet the learning needs of all disciplines involved in the care of the trauma/critical care patient.

Continuing Education

Nurses

JPS Health Network is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This live activity has been designated for 7.0 hours.

 

CME Credit Designation

Association to award continuing medical education to physicians.

The University of North Texas Health Science Center has requested that the AOA Council on Continuing Medical Education approve this program for 7.5 hour of AOA Category 2A CME credits. Approval is currently pending.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of North Texas Health Science Center and JPS Health Network. The University of North Texas Health Science Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
