School-Based Health Centers
Going to school is important. Students learn new things to prepare them for college and getting a job. Staying well so kids can go to class is the first step to learning.
JPS Health Network offers 20 school-based health centers in 13 school districts to help students get well and stay well. These clinics are open all year, even during the summer, to students and their brothers and sisters. The clinics offer school physicals, care for colds and flu, immunizations and treatment for health problems like asthma, diabetes and obesity.
District students and their siblings (ages birth to 22 years) are welcome at the school-based health center location where a family member is enrolled. Don’t have insurance? JPS staff are ready to help connect children with available resources such as CHIP, Medicaid or JPS Connection.
