Nov. 29, 2017 — For the second year in a row, JPS has been named among the region’s best places to work, climbing into the top quartile on The Dallas Morning News Top 100 Places to Work 2017.

Top 100

JPS ranked 22nd this year, up from No. 30 last year.

The annual selection of best places to work is based on the results of a survey administered to employees of hundreds of companies nominated for the award. The anonymous survey covers areas such as work/life balance, workplace dynamics, management, benefits and opportunity for advancement. The contest covers 10 North Texas Counties.

What makes JPS special? Team members said it best, volunteering comments that the Morning News shared on its web site.

“JPS hasn’t just changed my mind about the ‘county hospital’ vibe, they have blown healthcare in general out of the water. I don’t know any other hospitals that offer an integrative approach to behavioral health recovery specifically for people who are homeless,” one team member wrote.

“I feel support,” wrote another, “from my direct manager all the way through to the CEO. I love the diversity of our clients. I love that I want to come to work every day and leave each day feeling accomplished.”
