Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT

For the second year in a row, Melinda Costin, senior vice president and chief information officer at JPS Health Network, has been named one of the most powerful women in healthcare information technology by Health Data Management, a leading source of healthcare IT news.
“In her various positions, Costin has led the development and implementation of products that support electronic health records, including in the area of clinical decision support,” the magazine’s editors said. “Costin has shared her accumulated knowledge with her colleagues and influenced the growth of health IT.”
Costin’s career in healthcare IT spans 33 years. She is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.
Winners of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT will be featured in the May issue of Health Data Management, in print and online, and will be honored at a celebration May 17 in Boston.
