Jason George, MBA, Vice President, Human Resources
Jason George joined JPS in May of 2022 as Vice President, Human Resources. He spent two decades in the Energy Industry, with multiple Fortune 500 companies, which shaped him into a well-rounded senior leader through opportunities in Process Engineering, Natural Gas Marketing/Trading, Treasury, Investment Appraisal, Corporate Strategic Planning, and Human Resources.
During his time in Human Resources, he worked on a number of strategic initiatives including developing a Strategic Workforce Planning Process and standing up an HR Data and Analytics organization, as well as leadership experiences in Compensation, HRIS, and Leadership Development. After leaving the Energy Industry, Jason became an Independent Consultant, using his extensive experiences to provide transformative value to leaders through executive coaching, speaking, writing, and leadership development training. After this, he then served as Chief Operating Officer for one of his former clients, EPIC Charter Schools, in Oklahoma City.
Jason combines a highly analytical approach with a complimentary affinity for the people side of the business. He enjoys sharing expertise via mentoring and coaching to the benefit of both the individual and the enterprise. Jason has a passion for investing in the lives of others and aims to help others grow by leading with compassion, courage, and humility.
Jason and his wife have been married for 25 years and they have four children, two biological and two adopted. Jason earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
