Research Interests
I design analyses that use clinical data and patient-reported outcomes to answer questions regarding the treatment and prevention of disease. I am particularly interested in questions pertaining to the effects of hypothetical interventions and whether interventions found efficacious in other populations are generalizable or transportable to populations in which the intervention has not yet been tested. My research revolves primarily around individuals in the later stages of the HIV Care Continuum – people engaged or retained in care. My current research interests include:
- Pharmacoepidemiology of antiretroviral drugs
- HIV and acceleration of the aging-process
- Interventions to improve the delivery and uptake of PrEP
