Welcome to JPS!

We are thrilled to have you join our growing team of healthcare professionals. Our goal is to ensure your orientation and onboarding experience is meaningful, positive, and sets you up for success. As you prepare for your first day and week, here is everything you need to know to help you start strong.

Orientation is on Monday

When & Where

Orientation is held on Mondays
Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m
Arrival: Please allow sufficient time to find parking and utilize the shuttle service.

Take the elevator to the 4th floor, turn right down the hall, and enter the Pride Room. Please sign in once you enter.

Parking & Getting Here

Please park in the Main Street Garage at 175 S. Magnolia Avenue. Enter the garage through the Visitor/Patient entrance off S. Main Street, only park on the 3rd or 4th floors. Parking will be validated on your first day.

Please bring your Toll Tag number or have a clear photo available on your phone. Read up on toll tags here.

Getting to JPOC 1350: There is a walkway from the 2nd floor of the garage that enters the 1st floor of JPOC 1350, using either the staircase or the ramp (follow posted signage).

Toll Tag Information

During Orientation, you will enter your Toll Tag number to activate garage access. Accepted Toll Tags must begin with DNT., JPS., OTA., DFW., TEX., HCTR, or NTTA and include 8–10 numbers (example: DNT.12345678). If you do not have a Toll Tag, a JPS parking sticker will be provided.

Following Orientation, team members will be required to enter the Main Street Garage using “Staff Only Entrance” off St. Louis Avenue. Shuttles will be available to transport team members to JPS Main (Hospital) and the Patient Care Pavilion.

Find Your Track

Your track determines what days you’ll attend orientation during your first week.

Orientation Tracks

If you’re in Clinical Education, watch for an email from Clinical by the Friday before orientation.

If you are unsure of your track, check the PDF above or ask your Talent Associate.

Know Before You Go

Lunch: Lunch is provided during Orientation. *For vegetarian or gluten-free requests, email JPSOnboarding@jpshealth.org before your Orientation date.

What to Wear:

  • Business Casual for non-clinical staff (no jeans).
  • Scrubs if in a clinical setting. Refer to the Scrub Color Guide (PDF).

  • Bring two forms of ID for I-9 verification.

Health & Safety:

Masks are optional — please wear one if you're feeling unwell. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Inclement Weather:

If inclement weather conditions arise, expect an email update from JPSOnboarding by 5:00 p.m. the Sunday before Orientation. If Orientation moves online, you will receive a Zoom link to attend virtually.
