Research Interests

The aim of my research is to improve health outcomes among vulnerable populations through the application of clinical epidemiology and health services research. I am interested in generating and strengthening the evidence for interventions that target risk factors, treatments, and outcomes of comorbidities in the HIV-infected population. My current research interests include:

  • Health disparities and quality of care for people living with HIV
  • Cardiovascular disease among people living with HIV
  • Effects of antiretroviral treatment on HIV-related comorbidities

TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.98% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.10.
