With flu season approaching, JPS Health Network is reminding patients that one of the best ways to protect yourself and those around you is to get your annual flu shot.
Flu shots for the 2026–2027 flu season are now available. Patients can schedule an appointment through MyChart or by calling 817-702-1100.
Prevent the Flu
A few simple steps can help reduce the spread of flu and other illnesses:
- Get your annual flu shot.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
- Cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- If you are feeling sick, stay home when possible and consider wearing a mask around others.
If You Do Get Sick
JPS has several ways to connect with care when you are not feeling well. For non-emergency needs, patients can schedule a virtual visit through MyChart, make an appointment at a JPS Community Health Clinic, or visit the JPS Urgent Care Center.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or come to the Emergency Department.
