Trauma

Our One Focus

JPS Health Network is the leader in trauma care for Tarrant County. Our dedication to superior trauma care is critical to the health of Tarrant County. According to the Centers for Disease Control, trauma is the leading cause of death for people under the age of 44. That is why we have committed more resources than any other local hospital to saving the lives of trauma victims.

About Level I Trauma Centers

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) reviews hospitals ability to provide trauma care. The organization looks at resources available such as equipment, personnel and access to physicians in specialized fields, such as neurosurgeons. ACS surveyors perform a review of what a hospital has available and its capabilities. Learn more about what Level I means by visiting FACS.
