Healthcare Administrative Internship
JPS is committed to focusing on the community and excellence. The Healthcare Administrative Internship program is a 10-week summer immersive experience dedicated to addressing the health needs of our community while exceeding the expectations of all we care for by consistently providing the best care when and where it is needed.
The Healthcare Administrative Internship program is searching for high-performing graduate students interested in gaining direct healthcare administrative experience and are dedicated to continuous learning. We value diverse skill sets, backgrounds, work experiences, and interests.
Qualifications:
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in an MHA, MBA (with an emphasis on healthcare management), or MPH from a CAHME, AACSB, or CEPH accredited program by the start of the fellowship.
How to Apply:
- The application is open mid November to December.
- Applications must be submitted through the JPS careers page.
Please note: Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered, and applicants from unaccredited programs are automatically disqualified. A completed application and resume are required to apply. The cover letter is NOT required but ONE Letter of recommendation is, either professional or academic.

Internship placements are selected based on organizational needs and the intern’s skill set and interests.

How are participants selected?

When does the application process begin for the internship program?
The application window is from mid November to December. Interviews are conducted in January and decisions are made by early February.
