We participate in the National Residency Matching Program (January Match) and require that all applications be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (in July). Eligible candidates must have completed their third year (PGY-3) of general psychiatry residency prior to the fellowship start date at minimum, and have passed their USMLE Step 1/2/3 or COMLEX equivalents.

Application requirements include:

  • ERAS Application
  • Personal statement
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Official medical school transcript
  • Medical student performance evaluation (MSPE)
  • Official copy of USMLE/COMLEX scores
  • ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
  • Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from your psychiatry residency program director
  • Documentation of two (2) passed Clinical Skills Evaluations (CSE) in general psychiatry
  • Photo (preferably a high resolution head shot, if possible)
