Arvind D. Nana, MD earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University Of Texas At Austin. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Nana did an internship and a year of general surgery residency at the Boston Medical Center. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Montreal, Canada, where he also did fellowships in upper and lower limb reconstruction surgery. He completed an additional fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In addition to the management of acute orthopaedic injuries, Dr. Nana specializes in the treatment of complex post-traumatic sequelae, such as malunions, nonunions, infection, failure of fixation, and difficult hardware removal.
Dr. Nana Since September 1998, he has worked with the Fort Worth Affiliated Hospitals Orthopaedic Residency Program, as a staff physician .Dr. Nana has published numerous academic articles. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association; Musculoskeletal Infection Society; Texas Medical Association; Tarrant County Orthopaedic Society; Tarrant County Medical Society; Texas Indo-American Physician Society; AO North American; American Medical Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Bryan Ming, MD grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Trinity Valley School. He graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a BS in Business Management, then obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During residency, Dr. Ming served as the team physician for Alvarado High School for three years and developed a strong interest in Orthopaedic Trauma and reconstruction. After graduation from residency, he completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Cezar D. Sandu, MD is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Fellowship Subspecialty in Spine Surgery. Dr. Sandu earned his medical school training from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine with high honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. Subsequently, he completed residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Under the guidance of world-renowned pioneers in the field of Spine Surgery including Isador Lieberman, MD, Richard Guyer, MD, Jack Zigler, MD, and Scott Blumenthal, MD, Dr. Sandu completed his spine fellowship training at the Texas Back Institute.
Dr. Sandu focuses on comprehensive nonoperative and surgical management of spine degenerative, trauma, oncologic, and deformity conditions. When operative intervention is indicated, Dr. Sandu incorporates modern techniques, including minimally invasive and intraoperative CT guided navigation, to individualize treatment for each patient's specific condition, expectations, and lifestyle demands.
Aside from his professional endeavors, Dr. Sandu enjoys spending time with his family, and is an avid ironman triathlete and competitive cyclist.
Eric A. Barcak DO, is a fellowship trained and board certified orthopedic trauma surgeon. He serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital where he is involved in orthopedic resident education.
Clinical Interests: Pelvis and Acetabulum fractures, minimally invasive fracture, surgery, Fractures and dislocations of the elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle, Treatment of nonunions, malunions, and limb reconstruction.

Mayme Richie-Gillespie, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon with additional fellowship specialty training in musculoskeletal tumor surgery who specializes in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system, sarcomas of bone and soft tissues, limb salvage surgery, and surgical treatment of metastatic bone disease. Dr. Richie-Gillespie has limited her practice to orthopedic tumor surgery completing her fellowship in 1993. She moved to Fort Worth in 1996, becoming the first and only orthopaedic oncologist to practice in Tarrant County. She treats both adult and pediatric patients for consultation and surgical management of neoplasms including soft tissue sarcomas such as liposarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH), undifferentiated sarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, synovial sarcoma and neurofibrosarcoma, and other soft tissue malignancies such as deeply invasive melanoma; bone sarcomas including osteosarcoma and chondrosarcoma; other bone malignancies including multiple myeloma and lymphoma; benign bone tumors including enchondromas, osteochondromas, exostoses, intraosseous lipomas, bone cysts, chondromyxid firbomas, bone infarcts and others; benign soft tissue tumors including lipomas, vascular malformations (hemangioma), aggressive fibromatosis and others; and cancers which have metastasized (spread) to bone such as breast cancer , prostate cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and thyroid cancer. She has training and experience in limb sparing surgery which is frequently an option as opposed to amputation. She has served on the faculty of the Fort Worth Affiliated Hospitals Orthopaedic Residency Program for over two decades. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Michael Wimmer, MD grew-up in Snyder, TX. After graduating from Angelo State University in San Angelo, he attended UT Medical School in Houston where he received his medical degree.
Dr. Wimmer did his residency in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and was completed at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He followed with an Internship in General Surgery Categorical at Texas Tech University, Health Science Center, Lubbock. Dr. Wimmer had his own private practice in Fort Worth from 1992 - 2012. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and by the American Board of Electro Diagnostic Medicine.
A north Texas native, Dr. Rhodes graduated medical school from The University of North Texas Health Sciences Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his family medicine training at the world-renowned John Peter Smith Family Medicine residency. Following residency, Dr. Rhodes completed a 1 years sports medicine fellowship through John Peter Smith. He continues to work with the orthopedics department and the sports medicine fellowship to provide musculoskeletal care from young athletes to the elderly. Dr. Rhodes enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 3 young boys.
Dr. Tyler Caton is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He continued at the University of Florida and received a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. He then graduated from the Florida State University College of Medicine (MD). He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX and completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the prestigious Harvard University. He joined the Acclaim physician group in 2021. His surgical interests include adult reconstructive and orthopaedic trauma procedures. For leisure, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and watching Gator football and playing golf.
Dr. William Pientka is an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon with the Acclaim Physician Group. He cares for a full spectrum of disorders affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity including fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, nerve injuries, carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, and deformities. Dr. Pientka offers minimally invasive surgical treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome, which improve patient safety as well decrease recovery time compared to traditional surgical options. He also offers both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options for Dupuytren's Contracture.
Dr. Pientka has published extensively on Kienbock Disease, as well as on complex upper extremity reconstruction, hand and wrist fractures, and postoperative pain control. He is actively involved in research looking to improve postoperative outcomes after distal radius fractures.
Dr. Pientka is originally from Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Iona College, before attending medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at JPS, and his Hand Surgery fellowship with the department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Pientka offers clinic appointments at the Ben Hogan Center and the JPS Outpatient Clinic in Fort Worth as well as the Bardin Road Specialty Clinic in Fort Worth.
