Travis Motley, DPM
Specialty: Foot and Ankle Surgery

Dr. Motley was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, and completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University in Biology and Chemistry in 1993. In 1995, he earned his Master's degree in Biology. Dr. Motley completed medical school at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2000. He then completed a three year surgical residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, serving as Chief Resident from 2001 - 2003. Immediately after, he joined the JPS Orthopedic Department/Podiatry Section as an attending physician. Dr. Motley is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Program Director of the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, and remains active in basic science research, lectures at the local, state, national ,and international-levels, and contributes to surgical outcome studies. He is an AO North America faculty member and currently serves as President of the Podiatry Advisory Board to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. His practice focuses on foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot reconstruction, correction of forefoot and rear foot deformities, and wound care.
